Erasmus Day in Gdańsk
Last Thursday, February 7, an Erasmus Day meeting was held at our school, gathering organizations that are engaged or are interested in the Erasmus + program. This is the first event of this kind for primary schools in Gdansk, in which we had the honor and pleasure to host teachers and students from many primary schools of Gdańsk and the surrounding area, representatives of the city authorities and Erasmus + experts from the "Morena" Association.
Some of invited schools together with us presented the results of international projects and the opportunities the Erasmus + program offers for both students and teachers.
Our guests were also groups of pupils and teachers from schools that are very active in the projects, but have not participated in the Erasmus + program yet.
During the meeting, teachers and students, working in inter-school groups, had the opportunity to exchange experiences related to projects and its results. This time the science took the form of numerous games, competition and quizzes using modern technologies. The subject was related to the project "Don't forget what really matters!" and aimed to promote non-discriminatory habits in students' everyday life and critical thinking about stereotypes, building an attitude of acceptance and willingness to involve people from different cultural backgrounds and developing a pro-environmental attitude.

Our origins- then and now
During our journey through the origins of our students’ families we learned many interesting
things about ourselves.
It turned out that the ancestors of many of us had to move to Poland
for many reasons - economic, political, wars, and there were also those who just fell in love:)
The most numerous group in our school has Polish of forefathers, but there are also people
of Ukrainian, Russian or French nationality. Immigration is a difficult experience - a new place,
a new culture, new people. However, because of the fact that they are with us, we could learn
a lot about different culture-even simple things like cuisine, songs, dances and more.
The Ukrainian minority introduced us into their culture, traditions and customs on March.
We could watch traditional clothes, listen to Ukrainian Music,
be part of interactive lesson of geography and history.
The Ukrainian consul in Poland Mr. Łew Zacharczyszyn and his family also visited the school
on that day.
It was great journey:) We could get to know each other better.

Our Polish teachers team took part of international Euneos course in Madeira Interactive Technology Institute in March. The course was a part of Erasmus+KA1. Because the training concerned the use of modern technologies in the daily practice of teachers, our teachers had the opportunity not only to present solutions developed in SP42 in the field of modern technologies, but also to promote the results of all international Erasmus + projects, which they are part of , also Don't forget what really matters- starting with preparation to projects, working with application form (ideas of Spain coordinator were promoted), activities and results publishing, ways of comunication and colaboration.

Moving around for a better life
Here are drawings of Polish students that were made after seeing video about Ali'S&Juliet's story. Story about immigrants and refugees... Students of our school were shocked about kids from other countries problems. They undrestood how hard it must be to move to other country, to new school, new culture, among so many foregin people.
