On Monday,
the 22nd of January, Tirza primary school 7th grade organized a contest “Get to
know Europe”.
Students
from 4th to 9th grade participated in the contest. During the competition, all
groups had to visit six workshops where they solved a crossword puzzle, tried
to recognize different European country national foods and languages and took a
kahoot.it quiz on different European buildings. Our Portugese volunteer Nuno
had made a special quiz about Portugal.
At the end
of the contest, we – the 7th grade, counted the points and ate some
very tasty candy. Our students really liked the competition and they would like
to participate in a similar activity. This competition was a part of the project
“Don’t forget what really matters!”
